Our Program

We provide a nature-based program for young children that fosters a deep connection to the natural world.  Our day includes ample time for exploration and discovery outdoors as well as many opportunities for hands-on learning about nature indoors.

Mission

Woodsong was founded in 2018 with a mission to meet the needs of the whole child, including social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. We strive to create a loving and welcoming environment in which the children can become independent and confident individuals.  Our goal is to create a space in which the children can take the lead in problem solving, resolving conflicts, and self-care.

Ages Served

Children must be 2 years old to enroll in the program.  If your child turns 2 in the middle of a school year, they may enroll the month following their second birthday.  If an enrolled child’s third birthday occurs during the course of the school year, they may remain enrolled for the remainder of the school year.

The summer program is designed for those children who will be joining us the following school year and who have already turned 2, as well as those children who were enrolled the previous school year, who may be 2 or 3.

Schedule options

We offer three schedule options for families. You may choose to enroll for 2, 3, or 5 half-days per week. Tuition rates are currently :

$200/month for the 2-day program
$300/month for the 3-day program
$450/month for the 5-day program

Beginning in September 2024, tuition rates will increase to:

$250/month for the 2-day program
$350/month for the 3-day program
$500/month for the 3-day program

Yearly Schedule

We operate on a typical school-year schedule, September through May. We also offer a summer program, which runs June through August. Both the school-year and summer programs follow the same daily schedule.  Families may enroll for either or both programs (summer and school-year).

Registration

A non-refundable registration fee of $75 is be required of registrants to ensure a spot in the class. Each month’s tuition payment is automatically withdrawn on the 20th of the preceding month. For example, May tuition is automatically charged on April 20th.
